Sourced from several distinct growing regions within Napa Valley including Oak Knoll, Rutherford, and Oakville, each contributing a different expression of Sauvignon Blanc. This wine was fermented very slowly at relatively cool temperatures (50° to 58°F), in a combination of mostly neutral French oak (70% of the blend, 5% new) and stainless steel tanks (30% of the blend). The intent of this is to preserve and enhance the delicate varietal nuances. This wine has bright aromatic citrus notes of grapefruit and lemon zest along with passion fruit and wet stone. On the palate, focused fruit plays off of a solid core, giving the wine both complexity and length. It finishes cleanly with both a refreshing citrus and mineral quality.
